Dr. Anand Singh is a Staff Scientist at the National Cancer Institute (NIH), where he leads research on microRNA-driven regulatory networks and RNA-based precision therapeutics for malignant mesothelioma. His work focuses on decoding complex interactions between miRNAs, genes, and transcriptional programs to identify novel therapeutic targets and overcome resistance in aggressive cancers.
Dr. Singh completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. His early research in HIV biology earned him multiple national fellowships and international recognition, including awards from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the International AIDS Society. At NCI, his pioneering work on nanoparticle–hydrogel platforms for locoregional miRNA delivery has been featured as a CCR milestone and recognized with the NIH Fellows Award for Research Excellence. His research bridges fundamental biology and translational oncology to develop next-generation cancer therapies.
